Mrs. Williams Welcome Letter

Dear Parents and Guardians of 6th-8th Grade Students,

Welcome to 2019-2020 school year!! My name is Mrs. Williams and I will be your child’s Mathematics teacher. I am very excited for this upcoming school year. Some important information you should know:

  • All parents should ensure that they have access to the CPS Aspen Parent Portal. Grades should be checked weekly to verify that students are on the right track. If a student is struggling with a particular concept, please contact me immediately.

  • Students will have math homework on a regular basis. Homework is an essential part of learning and it is very important that your child completes their homework. I post the homework daily on the school’s website : www.Kiplingtigers.org

  • All students should come to class prepared and ready to work with the following supplies everyday:

    • TI-30 Texas Instrument Scientific Calculator

    • Dry erase Markers

    • 1- 3 subject notebook for Math only

    • Pencils (at least 3 sharpened pencils daily)

    • Erasers

    • Loose leaf paper

    • Ruler

    • Binder or folder for math only
