Week 4/25/16 1st & 2nd - National Poetry Month

Technology Skills 1st & 2nd Grade

  • Transfer knowledge of basic operations to new applications

  • Use two hands on the keyboard as you improve your typing skills

  • Create an “Acrostic Poem” using one of the following:

  1. Your first name

  2. Name of your school

  3. Your favorite subject at school

Read carefully as you following the examples in the links. You will do the following:

  1. Log into your CPS Google gmail account

  2. Open a blank document which you will name AC Poem Room __

        Type your room number ..Ex: AC Poem Room 101

   3.   Place all identifiable information in the top left hand corner vertically. You will type all using a black font color name, room number, date, grade, and AC Poem

     4. Your poem must have a title that is aligned center in bold text

     5.  You will change the font color to blue and font size to 24 for    your title

     6.  You will type your “Acrostic Poem” on the document using any dark color you select
